Meet Dr. Paul Thompson, President

A Missouri native, Dr. Thompson graduated from the University of Missouri at Kansas City Medical School in 1981 and completed his residency in urology and earned a chief residency position at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. In 1988 Dr. Thompson took a position with Urology Associates of Cape Girardeau in Missouri where he practiced for twenty years. At Southeast Missouri Hospital he served as head of the Credential Committee, Chief of Surgery and Chief of Staff.

Dr. Thompson in his forties developed some disturbing changes in his health and elected to go through an age management program that changed his life both physically and professionally. He completed an extensive training program, was awarded a certificate in Age Management Medicine, and has gone on to be a leader in this field of medicine. Dr. Thompson is one of the authors for the certifying exam in this growing field of medicine, has written a chapter in a text book, lectured across the country and has appeared multiple times on national news shows as an expert in the field of Age Management. He has practiced in this field for the last 10 years and opened The Thompson Clinic in 2015 so that he can extend this unique type of medicine, guidance and care to others nationwide.

Lisa Mullins, LVN

Lisa’s journey to better health and wellness began in 2008 when she trained with Cenegenics Age Management program. With over 15 years in nursing, Lisa has worked in the fields of endocrinology, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, and aesthetics. Lisa is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Texas Women’s University and a cosmetic injector’s license through MERZ Aesthetics.

Lisa joined the Thompson Clinic team in September of 2019 to help build on our high-quality system of care and make this care more convenient to our patients by being our full-time nurse. Whether you need a testosterone shot, a blood draw, or if you have some questions about anything healthcare related, come stop in and give Lisa a visit.

Penny King, Patient Program Administrator

If you were to call the Thompson Clinic right now, chances are you will be greeted by the sweetest Texas accent you have ever heard. Besides answering our phones, Thompson Clinic veteran-employee Penny K. makes sure all of our patient’s program needs are taken care of. From prescription refill requests to scheduling, she will ensure it gets done.

Penny Tamayo, Operations Manager

A Texas native, Penny T. completed her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting at the University of Texas at Arlington where she was also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. With nearly a decade of experience in customer service and management, Penny T. will be combining this experience with her knowledge of accounting and business to focus on operation strategies as we grow and develop our practice.

A member of the Thompson Clinic team since May 2019, Penny T. currently handles all internal operations that keep us up and running.
